R.I.P. - CASKET SHAPE - POISON BOTTLES

POISON BOTTLES WERE MADE IN 1971. Each bottle was embossed with a C and 71 next to it and on the bottom of every Wheaton bottle, was stamped the word "Wheaton". These bottles were made in RUBY, BLUE, TOPAZ, and GREEN. We do not know of any other color except for a clear R.I.P which Lois and Bob (retired presidents) have in thier collection. It is a site to see! The R.I.P bottles have bumps in the glass like a real coffin nails) Members often joke with each other regarding the "THIRD SHIFT" at the plant. There were times bottles were made in a color that are very rare and hard to find. Let us know about your special and rare finds of Wheaton Glass. We would love to put it in our newsletter!

R.I.P Bottes were made in two sizes, 3.0 and 5.5. The three inch bottles were made in four colors and the large R.I.P bottles were made in green and amethyst.

Wheaton also made a POISON bottle in a shape of a SKULL. This bottle was made in five inches and came in green and amethyst.
