CLASSIC WHEATON CLUB

The WHEATON COLLECTIBLES LARGE PRESIDENTIAL DECANTER Series consists of 44 different issues covering G.Washington thru G.Bush. They measure 7.7 inches in size and vary in color.

The Wheaton Presidential Decanter Series consist of fourty-four bottles from George Washington to George Bush. They were made from 1969 to 1989 by three different organizations. The Wheaton glass company made 19 decanters from 1969 to 1976 and distributed them as Wheaton/Nuline through registered franchised dealers. They were issued in order of popularity and not in any sort of order. The Decanters were created in a machine and were made in large quantities. All Wheaton bottles were marked "First Edition Wheaton NJ" on the bottom. In 1976 Decanters were made at Wheaton Village and they contined the series with 11 additional decanters until 1981. In 1983 Millville Art Glass received permission to complete the series and issued the remaining 14 decanters.
