It does not stop at the collectible "Wheaton" bottles...
Other works of art were created too! These works of art are just as collectible as the bottles themselves!
It all started back in 1888 when Dr. Theodore C. Wheaton, which was a pharmacist in Millville, NJ started producing laboratory bottles for pharmacists, physicians, and chemists. He also produced baby bottles and perfume bottles.
In 1938 Wheaton started to use automatic machines to produce bottles. They started creating all types of glass and they had salespeople sell Wheaton products door to door and at home parties.
They made spice jars, glasses, decanters, dinnerware, candle holders, canisters, paperweights, ashtrays, coasters, medallions, bookends, wire clamp jars, screw lid jars, wire hinge storage jars, wire hinge pate jars, hang up jars, zodiac spice jars, decorative booze decanters, kitchen graphic series, pitchers, wine crafes, beer mugs, Grandma Wheaton's milk bottles, plates, vases, bottle lamps, mini chimney oil lamps, antique medicine show bottles, old fashion ice cream parlor glasses, glass candle lamps, spice racks, Grandma Wheaton's filled containers, nini bottles, and of course Avon bottles. (These are just a few!!)
